SOUTH WINGFIELD MANOR
Derbyshire is one of the most beautiful counties of England. The Peak District which starts north of Derby is one of the most spectacular areas in the country and takes up almost the whole of the remainder of Derbyshire. There are a number of towns on the periphery of the Peaks; Castleton, Bakewell, Chesterfield and Buxton; and further south a more built up gentle landscape around Derby City itself.
Nestling in amongst this dramatic and wild landscape are some of the best Castles in the Midlands; Haddon, Riber, Bolsover and best of them all Peveril, standing high above Castleton (famed for it's Blue John stone).
Roy lives in Derbyshire.
