OF WEST LOTHIAN
Click on the Castle Name below the map to see a photo of the Castle and read about it.

The smallest of the Lothians, West Lothian stands directly west of
Edinburgh on the Firth of Forth. The landscape is mildly hilly
and rural growing to urban on the edges of the Capital city. Towns
include South Queensferry, Livingston, Linlithgow, Bathgate and Bo'Ness.
There is a scattering of castles across the county, one of
the most dramatic being Blackness Castle on the Firth of Forth.
