CASTLES OF NAIRNSHIRE

At present we haven't visited any Castles in this County.

Map of Nairnshire

Nairnshire is the smallest and most westerly of the three Moray Firth counties, it is hilly inland with a flatter coastal plain and the start of the Great Glen in the north west. There are few major towns in the county with only Nairn being of any great size.

It has a relatively small number of castles of which Cawdor is the best known.
