Tiny Liechtenstein is squashed between Switzerland and Austria. Like both its neighbours it is a very prosperous country and is one of Europe's most expensive destinations.
The capital is Vaduz, perched high in the Alps - one of the few capital cities in the world which does not possess a train station.
