The Kingdom of Fife, the area immediately north of the Firth of Forth, is one of the most historic in Scotland. It is packed with historic towns and many Castles of different kinds.

The most famous settlement is St. Andrews on the east coast, but it also contains Dunfermline, Scotland's newest City and a lot of other places of interest. Other towns include Falkland, Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes.The landscape is coastal moving to low mountains inland. It is one of Scotland's top holiday destinations.

There are lots of Castles in Fife including some crackers like St. Andrews and Ravenscraig.
