ST. GEORGE'S CHAPEL
Windsor Castle, Berkshire
Most large castles had their own chapel and Windsor Castle was no exception. Of course, over the years Windsor has become the largest occupied Castle in the World and St. George's Chapel has become the burial place for many past Royals including Henry VIII and George VI. Most recently in 2002 it saw the burial of Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.
The Chapel as it stands today was begun in 1472 by Edward IV and largely completed a century later by King Henry VIII.
