ST. MICHELE'S CHURCH
Alghero, Sardinia, Italy
Of all the ancient churches in Alghero, St. Michele's is probably the most attractive, with its distinctive - somewhat Moorish-looking - tiled dome being one of Alghero's landmarks.
The building was started in 1612, initially as a college for Jesuits. As with every other church I visited on Sardinia it was not open to visitors.
