HOUGH-ON-THE-HILL CHURCH

Lincolnshire

The Church of All Saints began life in the Saxon period and some remains still exist from this period. An Augustinian Priory stood nearby and there is some debate as to whether the church, which was largely rebuilt in the 12th Century, had any connection with the Priory.

The tower was added in the 15th Century and heavy restoration was undertaken in the 1840s.
