NINETEEN HUNDRED AND NINETY
1990 saw the beginning of the 'lost years' photographically speaking. For a while Andrew and Roy carried on as they were, taking photos as had always been done before, but the spark had gone and something was needed to replace it. What replaced it - in the end - turned out to be travel, and the first seeds were noticeable almost immediately...Andrew and Roy travelled around the UK on a holiday and Roy went to America with Shaun. At the end of the year moves began to be made towards a reunion, but it would be day out not a photo session. |

NINETEEN HUNDRED AND NINETY-ONE
1991 turned out to be the template for the rest of the Decade, not that we knew it at the time. Andrew and Roy's travels began to take more of a hold, with occasional meetings with Shaun. On 28th April 1991 the first photo of the full Raving Loony Team since March 1989 was taken during a trip to Chessington World of Adventures. Despite this the defining event of 1991 took place on 15th September. Andrew and Roy visited Dover Castle. It was the first visit on their great Castles Project which would keep them travelling around England until 13th October 1998. |

NINETEEN HUNDRED AND NINETY-TWO
1992 was a year which saw the Castles Project grow beyond all Andrew and Roy's initial expectations. Andrew's photographic skills began to become more and more applied to photographing "piles of old stones" than people. There was relatively little contact with Shaun until well into 1992. In August Shaun married Alison at Gillingham Church...a separate Gallery has the pictures of their Wedding Day. |

NINETEEN HUNDRED AND NINETY-THREE
1993 was very much the 'nadir' of the Raving Loony photo years. Very few pictures were taken that weren't of Castles - although some of those were superb. There was virtually no contact between Roy & Andrew and Shaun in this very sparse photographic year. |

NINETEEN HUNDRED AND NINETY-FOUR
1994 marked the slow beginnings of a crawl back towards non-Castle photography which eventually culminated in the Year 2000's bumper crop of RLP photos. Photographically speaking Roy took a back seat in 1994 whilst Alison began to contribute to the Raving Loony Gallery in a bigger way. 1994 was also the year Roy met Tammy, adding to our numbers once more. |
