DUNSEVERICK CASTLE
County Antrim
Dunseverick Castle has been elevated to a tourist attraction merely because of it's position at the very heart of the Causeway Coast of County Antrim, positioned as it is midway between the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and the Giant's Causeway.
In actual fact there isn't a great deal left of Dunseverick Castle, merely two walls of a 16th Century tower which was possibly the gatehouse into the bawn of a small Castle on the headland.
The Castle's position is rather dramatic and is possibly worth a quick look before heading off to one of the more worthy sights of this amazing coastline.
