The under-rated county of Surrey is overwhelmed by the encroachment of suburban London in the north.  Once out of this urban sprawl you reach a wild land of heath and hills.  Leith Hill, on the North Downs, is the highest point in southern England.

Andrew in Surrey

Of the county's Castles only Guildford and Farnham boast much remains.  Farnham having the most peculiar keep within a motte within a keep system of construction!
