CASTLES OF PEMBROKESHIRE
At present we haven't visited any Castles in this county
The county of Pembrokeshire, absorbed into Dyfed in 1974, centres around the waters of the Milford Haven, the largest natural port in Britain. The significance of this series of waterways was not lost on the medieval Castle builders who constructed some superb examples at such places as Pembroke, Tenby, Manorbier, Cilgerran and Haverfordwest.
Pembrokeshire is more famous for its magnificent coastline, which was one of the earliest National Parks in Britain. Towns and cities include St. David's, Tenby, Pembroke, Milford Haven, Fishguard and Haverfordwest.
