GALLERY '98: Picture Fifty-Eight

Pont Adolphe

Andrew on his last day in Luxembourg.  It was a hot morning and he walked along the Petrusse Valley which divides the old town from the surrounding newer suburbs.  Behind him in this picture is the Pont Adolphe, the impressively high bridge which is Luxembourg's best-known landmark.

The day was 17th August 1998 and this is a timer shot.

To read about Andrew's trip to the Grand Duchy, see Travel Pages: Luxembourg.

To see more pictures from his visit go to Pictures Six, Twenty-Five and Forty-One.
