GALLERY '98: Picture Twenty-Seven

Blackpool Illuminated

A windswept and somewhat wet Andrew on the Promenade at Blackpool during the 1998 Blackpool Illuminations.  It was appalling weather throughout his visit (with his parents), when it wasn't raining it was so windy that sand from the beach was getting three roads inland!

The Illuminations, though, were very impressive when you could stand up straight enough to appreciate them!

This picture was taken on 26th October 1998 by Andrew's Mum.
