GALLERY '98: Picture Nine

A Wight Out

1998 was obviously a year for visiting Islands - here is Roy on the Isle of Wight (we also visited between us Jersey, Guernsey, Sark, Herm, Alderney, the Isle of Man and Ibiza!).

The picture is hugely over-exposed because Andrew was using his Uncle's camera and although he didn't know it until he took the film out of the camera it was a 1200 ASA (as opposed to the 200 which the camera was set for).  Most of the other pictures are just over-exposed but this one is quite effective, mostly because of the darkness of Roy's sunglasses compared with everything else.

The day was 8th August 1998.
