GALLERY '98: Picture Three

A Lark On Sark

In April/May 1998 Andrew travelled to the Channel Islands to visit the Castles there for the Castles of England Project.  Here he is on the glorious island of Sark which has no Castles of its own, although the small island of Brecqhou next door does have a Castle (of sorts).

Behind Andrew here is La Coupee, the famous crossing between Great and Little Sark with sheer drops to the sea below.

The day was 9th May 1998 and the picture was taken by a passer by.

For more Channel Island photos see Pictures Thirteen, Sixteen, Twenty-Three, Thirty-Six, Forty-Nine, Fifty-Two and Fifty-Nine.
