GALLERY '97: Picture Twenty-Three

One of the Last Great Castles

By the latter part of 1997 Andrew and Roy's Castles Project was entering it's final phases. This Castle, Castle Rising in Norfolk, was one of the last great Castles they had to visit. 1998 would be the year for mopping up the odd remnants (plus the Channel Islands and Isle of Man).

This picture, taken on 20th July 1997 by some bloke visiting the Castle, is also one of the few to feature Roy with his very short-lived beard (see also Picture Seven).
