GALLERY '95: Picture Five

The Barren Burren

Andrew, continuing his journey around Ireland, reached County Clare and The Burren - an amazing almost moon-like landscape in the north of the county which has vast areas of limestone"pavements" through which plants only emerge from cracks.

The day was 12th September 1995 and this picture was taken just outside Ailwee Cave.
