GALLERY '91: Picture Seventeen

Atop Sutton Valence Castle

Here's Roy playing "King of the Castle" at Sutton Valence near Maidstone.  It was their first "obscure" Castle, and also one of the first sunny days they had had on their Castles Project.

Just over two years later a very similar picture would be taken of Andrew and Shaun by Shaun's wife Alison (see Gallery 1994, Picture One) and a later picture was taken by Andrew of his penfriend Karoliina Kiianen (see Gallery Holidays with Karoliina Kiianen, Picture Thirty-Nine).
