GALLERY '88: Picture Two

Two Flashers!

During the shorter days of 1988 we were taking many photos in Andrew's house.  One of the tricks we started using was a slave flash (that is a flash set off automatically by the one on the camera which you can place anywhere).  In this picture, which was set up by Andrew on 28th March 1988, the flash is on a stand between us (and can be seen in the picture).

The bright lighting down one side of our faces is very effective, partly because it is on opposite sides of our faces (on Shaun's right and Andrew's left) whereas natural light only ever comes from one direction.
