GALLERY '87: Picture Twenty-Two

Just the Thirteen of Us!

This picture was taken in Walderslade Village one evening (5th October 1987).  It was taken by leaving the shutter open on the camera (which was on a tripod) and holding a flash gun in our hands to illuminate ourselves (there are 13 of us in the picture).

The gap after the fourth figure was where Shaun accidentally pointed the flash gun away from himself (illuminating merely the ground behind him!).  A car pulled up with its headlights on causing a slightly panicked closing of the shutter - but the photo came out just about perfectly as it was.
