GALLERY '87: Picture Fifteen

This peculiar wooden object was a climbing frame set up in a small play ground in a park in the woods of Walderslade.  Of course, these days no one would dream of setting a children's play ground in the middle of woodlands - but those were different times!

Anyone actually climbing on the climbing frame was in extreme danger of serious injury as not only was the landing on hard packed mud, but the ground dipped alarmingly halfway along the length of the frame and was shored up with a row of upright logs!  Safety First!

The picture was set up by Andrew and was taken on 18th May 1987.
