GALLERY 2001 : Picture Fifty-Eight
Andrew braving the sort of the storm the Shipping Forecast would be proud of. Appropriate really as he is at Malin Head, the most northerly point of Ireland (which is, naturally enough, in the South - in County Donegal to be precise) which features as one of the areas on the Shipping Forecast.
It was towards the end of the day and Andrew had driven a long way to get here - and just for once it wasn't shut because of foot and mouth!
The day was 21st April 2001 and this is a timer shot - as there was probably no one else around for miles!!
Other photos from Andrew's trip around Ulster can be found at Pictures Twenty-one, Thirty-seven, Thirty-nine, Fifty-one, Sixty-six, Seventy-two and Eighty-six.
To read all about his time in County Donegal, see Travel Pages: Ireland.
