We're All Domed!

Despite all the crap written about it when Andrew and Roy went to the Millennium Dome in January they were both quite impressed.  Sure it wasn't quite as marvellous as it was cracked up to be and publicity etc. has been handled appallingly badly, but neither of us thought it anywhere near deserved the rough ride it has been given.

Highlights, for us, were the Show, the Home Planet ride, the MindZone and the MoneyZone - the only real piece of crap being the Shared Ground thing.  The RestZone was also rather neat, how about one of them in a Shopping Centre, what a brilliant place to unwind!

All in all it was pretty cool and Andrew re-visited with some work colleagues later in the year.

This picture features Roy standing outside the Dome on the way in and was taken by Andrew on 14th January 2000.
