Derbyshire is one of the glories of Britain.  The Peak District which starts north of Derby is one of the most beautiful areas in the country and takes up almost the whole of the remainder of Derbyshire.

Nestling in amongst this dramatic and wild landscape are some of the best Castles in the Midlands; Haddon, Riber, Bolsover and best of them all Peveril, standing high above Castleton (famed for it's Blue John stone).
